Milton Eubanks – Obituary

Mr. Milton Eubanks, age 84, of the Scant City Area of Arab, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 at his residence.
Mr. Eubanks was born on July 7, 1933 in Marshall County to Thomas Calvin Eubanks and Addie Mae Collins Eubanks. Mr. Eubanks was married to the late Geneva Ann Fortenberry Eubanks who passed on December 5, 2012. He worked in the aviation field as a mechanic and retired from Hayes Aircraft in Birmingham. He enjoyed gardening and his azalea flowers were featured in the Alabama Living magazine, also enjoyed attending VFW & AARP events.
He was a member of New Friendship Baptist Church and served as Chairman of the Cemetery Committee.
Mr. Eubanks is survived by his son-in-law, Dennis Brasher; daughter-in-law, Penny Eubanks; sister, Audrey Jo Reeves; grandchildren, Brittany Eubanks Lemons, Jennifier & Matthew Blair, Collin & Katie Brasher, Alyssa Dante Brasher; great grandchildren, Taylor Lemons, Samantha Blair, Ethan Blair, Brooks Brasher. Preceded in death by his wife, Geneva Ann Fortenberry Eubanks; parents, Thomas Calvin Eubanks and Addie Mae Collins Eubanks; son, Keith Eubanks; daughter, Theresa Brasher; brother, Thomas Ray Eubanks; sister, Norma Cash.
Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday May 19, 2018 at New Friendship Baptist Church with, Bro. Aaron Farrow, Bro. Fred Wilks & Collin Brasher officiating. Mr. Eubanks will lie-in-state at the church one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in New Friendship Cemetery with Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
The family will be accepting flowers or donations can be made to the New Friendship Cemetery Fund.
Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Friday May 18, 2018 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
