Milton Dean Turner

Milton Dean Turner of Decatur, Alabama was born on November 2nd  1950 to Emmett Harris and Hazel Parker Turner.

Milton left this world on December 8th 2023 at 12:30a.m. He was preceded in death by two brothers- Gary Lynn Turner and James Kenneth Turner and his daughter- Linda JoAnn Turner.

He is survived by his wife of 52 yrs- Jennifer Ellenburg Turner, his sister Glenda Ruth Sebourn(Dale), two sons- Emmett Harris Turner II (Amanda) and Michael Dean Turner (Ashley), two granddaughters- Macie Reese Turner and Lana Brooke Turner and numerous nieces and nephews.

Milton was a faithful member of the Lord’s church and attended services at Flint church of Christ. He was a 50+ year member of the Plumbers and Steamfitter’s Local 377/760 and worked as a Welder and Pipefitter. He enjoyed hunting, fishing  gardening and picking up sticks with his precious granddaughters.

The family will have visitation on Tuesday December 12th at 11:00 a.m.at Flint Church of Christ. The funeral service will follow at 12:00noon.

Nicky Pressnell, Chris Pressnell & Chris Bowers will officiate the service. Tommy Brown will be our honored Song Leader.

There will be a private family burial at Morris Chapel Cemetery at a later time.
