Mildred Louise Hurley Jones, 75, of LaFayette, Georgia, formerly of Fort Payne, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2024. She was born April 18, 1949 in Summerville, Georgia to the late Wallace Hurley and Louise Riley Hurley. She and her husband Ed were members of Liberty Hill Baptist Church in Adamsburg for many years.
Funeral services will be 1 p.m. CST Sunday, December 1st at Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Shaunathan Bell officiating. Burial will follow in Adamsburg Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 12 noon to the 1 p.m. (CST) hour of service.
Pallbearers will be Richard Addison, Bubba Addison, Jerry Addison, Zachery Addison, and David Jones.
She is survived by her niece Linda Addison and husband Richard and her nephew David Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ed Jones, sister Betty Riley, and brother Billy Hurley.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
