Mildred Lee Lambert  Mildred Lee Lambert, 96, of Athens, passed away on Wednesday, August 28th, 2024, at Athens Health & Rehab. Mrs. Lambert was born on February 12th, 1928, in Athens, to Robert M. McGuire and Sarah Melissa “Lissy” Adams McGuire.

Mrs. Lambert is survived by her son Jerry Lambert (Chang), of Thompson Station, Tennessee; granddaughter Lisa Carter (Scott), of Columbia, Tennessee; great-grandchildren Dustin Lambert, Gabby Leva, Rosie Leva, Landon Carter (Abby), and Dawson Carter (Zoe); sister Ruth Mitchell (Jerry); numerous nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband Henry Lambert; granddaughter Angelia Lynn Leyva; brothers Claude McGuire, Howard McGuire, and Bobby McGuire; and sisters Mable Crafts and Merle Dean Kimbrough.

Funeral services for Mrs. Lambert will be Saturday, August 31st, 2024, at 2:00pm, at Limestone Chapel Funeral Home, with Jeff Woods and David Cox officiating. Visitation will be Saturday from 12:00-1:45pm at the funeral home. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Lambert was a member of Market Street Church of Christ. She was a special lady who loved to cook and kept a spotless house. She enjoyed gardening and putting up vegetables.
