Funeral service for Mrs. Mildred Jane Sisk Roland, age 81, of Fayetteville, TN, will be conducted Sunday, August 21, 2016 at 1 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home with Bro. Lee Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Gum Springs Cemetery. Mrs. Roland passed away Friday, August 19, 2016 at the Lincoln Care Center.
Mrs. Roland was a native of Lincoln County, TN, the daughter of the late Elmer and Mary Carolyn Meeks Sisk. She was a homemaker and a member of the Molino Church of Christ.
Survivors include her daughters Sue (Ricky) Reed of Shelbyville, TN, Debbie (Dennis) Helton, Sandra (Sam) Lanier all of Fayetteville, TN, grandchildren Sylvia (Luke) Anderton, Jason (Jessie) Helton, Jeremy (Lindsey) Helton, Jessie (Michael) Lanier-Lane, 3 step-grandchildren, great grandchildren Tyler Anderson, Kendell Helton, Madison Lane, 11 step-great grandchildren, sisters Betty Reed of Flintville, TN, Mary Tucker of Manchester, TN, Kay Allen of Fayetteville, TN, and brother Phillip “Red” Sisk of Fayetteville, TN. Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Jessie L. Roland and brother Jimmy Sisk.
Visitation with the family will be Saturday, August 20, 2016 from 5 until 8 p.m. at Higgins Funeral Home.
