Mildred H. Mitchell, age 83, Hamilton, AL., passed away Saturday, February 28, 2015 at Tupelo, MS. She was born in Marion County, Alabama on Thursday, August 27, 1931 to Willie and Dorothy Lawrence. Visitation will be Monday, March 02, 2015, 10:00-11:00 a.m. at Marion County Funeral Home. The service will follow at 11:00 a.m. in the Chapel with burial in Sullins Cemetery. Bro. Todd Clippard officiating. She was preceded in death by her husband, Orville Mitchell; parents, Willie & Dorothy Lawrence; daughters; Marsha Shotts and Cindy Hudson. She leaves to cherish her memory, granddaughters, Jennifer Downey (Jerromy), Whitney Hulsey (Ben); great-grandchildren, Aaliyah and Jett Downey; son-in-law, Billy Hudson (Lana); brothers, Ray Lawrence (Linda), Ken Lawrence (Mary) and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
