In Loving Memory of Mildred Dean Ledbetter Masters-
Mildred Dean Ledbetter Masters, age 89, of Albertville, Alabama, peacefully passed away on Monday, January 8, 2024, at Shepherds Cove Hospice. She was born on May 10, 1934, to the late Jessy and Grace Ledbetter.
Mildred’s legacy is carried on by her loving children: Charles Larry Masters (Iis), Sandra Ann Masters Hubbard (Jimmy Ray), Kenny Dale Masters (Angie Lynn), and daughter-in-law Sherrell Rowell Masters. She was a cherished grandmother to Shawn Hubbard, Jennifer, Matthew, Fiena, and Wildan Masters, as well as a beloved great-grandmother to Gavin Baugh, Madison, Braxton, Gauge, and Annaleigh Hubbard. In addition to her parents Mildred is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Owen Masters; sons, Ricky Harold Masters, Ronnie Gene Masters, Kris Edwin Masters.
A woman of grace, Mildred touched the lives of those around her with kindness and warmth. Her love and wisdom were beacons for her family and friends, and her memory will forever remain in their hearts.
A graveside service to honor Mildred’s life will be held at 2:00 pm on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Kilpatrick Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm on Thursday.
Assisting Mildred to her final resting place will be Matthew Masters, Shawn Hubbard, Braxton Hubbard, Wesley Slaton, Wildan Masters, Gavin Baugh and Charles Hunt. Their support and presence will be a testament to the love and respect Mildred inspired in those fortunate enough to know her.
