Mike Yost

 Mike Yost was born on March 13,1941 in Cincinnati, Ohio, the son of the late Frank and Ann Yost.

On May 9th, 1992, he was united in marriage to Betty Gordon Fulton, who survives.

Mike proudly served in the United States Air Force from November 14, 1961 thru July 27, 1965, while serving in the Air Force he was stationed in Germany. He was a member of Grace Point Church in Savannah, Tennessee. Mike was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. He lived and worked in Huntsville, Alabama for 20 years. Mike later retired in Savannah, Tennessee. He loved watching soccer, fishing, and gardening, he was like a master gardener. Mike had a great sense of humor, intelligent, loved to read, and was a unique person. Mike was a “character” that was enjoyed by everyone around him. He was loved by his family.

Mike departed this life on October 31, 2023 in Jackson, Tennessee at the age of 82 years, 7 months, and 18 days.

He is survived by his wife, Betty Gordon Fulton Yost of Savannah, Tennessee; son, Dan Yost of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; daughter, Kelly Hormann of Clinton, New Jersey; stepsons, Alan Doran (Kayron) of Savannah, Tennessee and Don Doran (Tammy) of Savannah, Tennessee, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren, which he loved dearly.

In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his son, Martin Yost.
