Mickey Ann Babb Johnson, age 72 of Fort Payne, passed away Friday, August 2, 2024 at her residence. She was born on August 20, 1951. She retired from the hosiery business and was of the Baptist faith. She was a loving wife, mom, grandmother, and friend.
A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m., Sunday, August 4, 2024 at the Wilson Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. hour of service. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be made to the Shriner’s Children’s Hospital in her name.
She is survived by her husband, J.D. Johnson; sons & daughters-in-law, Shane (Kris) Goggans, Jody (Neda) Goggans and Jon (Joanna) Goggans; brother & sister-in-law, Howard (Terri) Babb; sister, JoJo McCorkle; grandchildren, Bryant (Kaylyn) Goggans, Hannah (Jonah) Vaughn, Joshua (Lyndsey) Mcllroy, Patrick Goggans, Isabelle Goggans, Sami Goggans, and Ruby Goggans; great-grandchildren, Dalyn Vaughn and Brylyn Goggans; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her son, Raven Johnson; parents, Hubert & Nellie Morgan Johnson; brother & sister-in-law, Jerry Don & Cherri Babb; and sister, Jeffey Johnson.
