On November 30, 2022, Michelle Shields-Beckham, 57, resident of Corinth, departed this life in the comfort on her home following an extended illness.

Funeral Arrangements honoring the life of Ms. Shields-Beckham will be at 2 PM Tuesday, December 6 in The Heritage Chapel of Ripley Funeral Home  with Bro. Roy Mullins officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in the Marshtown Community of Alcorn County.

Born December 29, 1964 at Scott Air Force Base near Belleville, IL, she was the daughter of the late Robert Clay and Edna Mae Roden Shields. She received her education in the Corinth Public School System and served as a waitress and devoted homemaker throughout her life.

A Christian, Ms. Shields-Beckham had many interests that included, reading, jigsaw puzzles, coloring and watching Christmas movies beginning in July. Known as “Frosty” to her much adored grandchildren, she always surrounded herself with her friends and family, which is where she felt most comfortable and loved.

“We know that we can’t have you but we’re happy knowing that the angels have finally got you back. Goodbye to a wonderful woman and a beautiful mother.”

Visitation will be from 12 Noon until 2 PM Tuesday, December 6 at The Ripley Funeral Home.

Memories will continue to be shared by a daughter, Misty Jo Baswell of Corinth, two sons, Billy Clay Mullins and Roy Douglas “Beau” Mullins, Jr, both of Corinth, two brothers, Gregory Shields and James Keith Shields (Cindy), both of Glen, twelve grandchildren and her companion of 15 years, Billy Jack (Junior) Beckham.

She was also preceded in death by a sister, Deborah Butchko.
