Michael William Stricklin of Waynesboro, TN Michael William Stricklin was born August 9, 1954 in Waynesboro, TN the son of Emma Nola Dixon and the late James W. (Billy) Stricklin. He was united in marriage to Carole Ann Brewer on September 19, 1980. Mr. Stricklin was an owner of the Dixie Handle Company in Waynesboro, TN, was a member of the Mt. Hope Methodist Church in Waynesboro, TN, and graduated with a bachelor degree in science from Middle Tennessee State University. He departed this life on June 3, 2022 in Columbia, TN at the age of 67 years, 9 months, and 25 days.

He is survived by his wife Carole Ann Brewer Stricklin; his mother, Emma Nola Dixon Stricklin; a son, Cainan Stricklin and Victoria, all of Waynesboro, TN; a daughter, Brittany Stricklin Lawson and Chris of Murfreesboro, TN; a brother, Mark Stricklin of Waynesboro, TN; two sisters, Debbie Stricklin Nichols and Bruce of Danville, KY, Deloris Stricklin Calton and Billy of Waynesboro, TN; and two grandchildren, Stella-Kate Stricklin and Stetson Michael Stricklin.

Mr. Stricklin is preceded in death by his father, James W. (Billy) Stricklin.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 from 11:00 am until 3:00 pm service time at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, June 5, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Shackelford Funeral Directors in Waynesboro, TN, with Sister Bobbie Martin, Bro.Gary Anderson, and Brian Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Memorial Gardens at Waynesboro, TN. Shackelford Funeral Directors of Wayne County assisting the family.

Pallbearers: Eddie Berry, Ronnie McCrory, Joel Gobbell, Stephen Holt, Vic Barnett, Rex Bevis, and Rob Martin. Honorary Pallbearer: Cainan Stricklin

The family requests that in lieu of flowers memorial donations be given to the Butterfly Foundation or to the Pink Ladies Society
