Michael Wayne Freeman, 65, of Fort Payne, passed away Saturday, October 15, 2022. He was born February 2, 1957 in Fort Wayne, Texas to the late Willis Morgan Freeman and Mary June Tcherneshoff Freeman Reed. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Friday, October 21st at Wills Valley Community Church. The family will receive friends Friday from 1 p.m. until the 2 p.m. hour of service at the church.
He is survived by his son Michael Shane Freeman and wife Caroline; step-son Steven Wayne Roan; granddaughters Penelope Grace Freeman, Mary Luellyn Freeman, and Jenna Nichole Freeman; brother Morgan Freeman; sisters Mary Beth Freeman, Becky Parnell, and Bonnie Isbell; and several nieces and nephews.
Wilson Funeral Home and Crematory of Fort Payne is in charge of arrangements.
