Michael “Tinker” Summers passed away on May 10, 2023 at age 49. Michael Shawn Summers was born in Lebanon TN to Remona Faye Thompson and Freddie Summers. He could fix anything so working as a handyman was a natural fit. He was passionate about helping the homeless. Bluegrass and country music were the soundtrack of his life. Michael kept in constant contact with his Facebook friends and his commentary will be missed.
Michael is survived by his mother: Remona Driver; brother: Kenneth (Christina) Driver; uncle: Roger (Sherry) Thompson; aunt: Sharon (Mike Smith) Thompson and Chalet (Jason) Lasater; and many, many Facebook friends. He is preceded in death by his precious canine companion “Gabby”, grandparents Dorothy and Bransford Thompson, great-grandmother Pearl Cooper, and great-uncle James Cooper.
