Michael Terry, 69, of Muscle Shoals, died Saturday, February 14, 2015. His visitation will be Monday, February 16th from 1 pm until 2 pm at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. His funeral service will immediately follow at 2 pm in the funeral home chapel with Billy Thorne officiating. Burial will follow in Colbert Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Terry was a member of Ford City Baptist Church and IBEW local #558. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thomas “Cotton” and Doris Terry; great grandchildren, Marcus and Clayton McDougal.
He is survived by his loving wife of 36 years, Mary Jo Terry; sons, Shawn Terry, Lonnie South, and Michael Don Burbank (Katie); daughters, Wendy Hennessee, Cindya Lovett (John), Nicole Terry, and Hannah Burbank (Adam McDougal); sister, Thomasine Choat; and six grandchildren, Lindsey Smith (Jake Hughes), Hagen Hennessee, Savannah, Jonathan, and Olivia Lovett, and Elizabeth Terry.
Pallbearers will be Michael Don Burbank, Hagen Hennessee, Adam McDougal, Marty Robertson, Jonathan Lovett, Sr., and Darrell King.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Jake Hughes and David Sandlin.
