Michael Owen Tull, 74, passed away on Thursday, May 23, 2024 at UAB Hospital. He was born August 31, 1949, in Morgan County, to Charles Edward Tull and Betty Jo Orr Tull, who preceded him in death.
Michael was a member of First Methodist Church in Decatur. He proudly served in the United States Army for over 22 years, achieving the rank of Sergeant First Class. Following retirement, he worked in various capacities at Steak Out, in Decatur. He was a voracious reader and had a collection of over 11,000 books. He especially enjoyed military history and collected swords, shields and other ancient military paraphernalia.
Survivors include his Brother – Joseph E. Tull of Naples, Florida.
