Michael "Mike" Stephen Oliver Michael “Mike” Stephen Oliver, of Lacon, Alabama, passed away at home on Saturday, December 14th.

He was employed by Lawrimore Trailers, as a welder, prior to his passing. He was caring husband, father, grandfather, and son. Mike was a United States Marine Veteran, where he was an Equipment operator, had a Rifle Badge for Marksman, and was awarded the Good Conduct medal.

He is preceded in death by his beloved Grandparents; Cecil and LaMerle Mitchell, his Father; “Bob” Leo Oliver, and his Father-in-Law; George Green.

He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Natalie Oliver, his Mother; Blenda Mitchell, Step-Mother; Angie Oliver, Sister; Suzanne Oliver, Brother; Alan Hutson, Mother-in-Law; Nancy Green. He also leaves behind his children: Ashley Angerman (Jeremiah), Robie Ballenger (Clayton), Jessie Sullins, Blake Oliver, Justin Holmes, Taylor Ewing (Chris); along with numerous Grandchildren, including Ian, Addie, Emma, and Oakley Angerman; Derrick, Lily, Chelsea, Ethan, Emma, Isaac, Madalynn, and Lukas Ballenger; Roger Hatfield, Zachary Sullins; as well as Keiana and Kaileb Holmes.

The pallbearers include; Blake Oliver, Chris Ewing, Jeremiah Angerman, Derrick Ballenger, Clayton Ballenger, Todd McCulloch, Kent Turney, Alan Hutson, Justin Holmes, and Jeremy Key.

Tim McCulloch will be leading the service at Grace Baptist Church in Hartselle.

Viewing for family members will begin at 5:00 P.M. on Saturday, December 21st at Peck Funeral Home in Hartselle, Alabama. Friends will be welcome from 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held at Grace Baptist Church in Hartselle, Alabama beginning at 2:00 P.M. on Sunday, December 22nd.
