Michael (Mike) Brian Lawson, 65, passed away Tuesday , August 8, 2017 at his home in Harvest with his loving wife Susan Lawson by his side. He leaves his wife, Susan (Lowther) Lawson; his son, Brian Lawson of Fayetteville, TN; his father and step-mother, William and Wanda Lawson of Fayetteville, TN.; his sister, Theresa Lawson of Huntsville, AL; his step-children, Shannon Jtineant, Linda Lowther Ragland and her husband Matt Ragland, Brandi Lawson, and Jonathan Philyaw. Grandchildren include, Dawson, Zachary, Isabella, Abby, Lawson, Lilly, and Lori. He was preceded in death by his mother, Margorie Stewart of Huntsville, Al. He was born March 19, 1952 in Elizabethtown, Kentucky. He attended Butler High School and The University of Alabama Huntsville. Michael developed a passion for writing but enjoyed most, his time with his wife and grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at Berryhill Funeral Home in Huntsville on Thursday, August 10, 2017, at 2:00 p.m.
