A graveside service for Michael “Mike” Blackwell will be on Tuesday, October 4, 2022, at 1:00Pm at Forest Grove cemetery in pleasant grove with Bro. Michael Mason officiating and Peck funeral home directing. Visitation will be on Monday, October 3, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 at Peck funeral home. Mr. Blackwell was born on January 30, 1959 in Jefferson County Alabama to Charles and Billie Blackwell. He died on October 1, 2022 at his residence.
Mike worked at Goss electric for twenty years as Project Manager. He liked to play golf and loved Alabama football. Family and Friends are welcome to wear their favorite Alabama shirts to the funeral if you would like to. Mike was preceded in death by his parents; sister- Lynn Fredrickson and Brother- Doug Blackwell.

One son: Alan Taylor (Janice)
One Daughter: Rhonda Champion
Two Nieces: Leanna Brown (Jimmy), and Kelly Fredrick
Two Nephews: Adam Brown and Alex Brown
Three Grandchildren: TK Champion (Jamie), Alex Taylor (Katie) and Ashley Foster (Aaron)
Five Great Grandchildren: Savanah, Teagan, Charly Ann, Faith, and Clay
Pallbearers will be Tommy Blankenship, Alan Taylor, Phillip Steele, Joe Bradley, Jimmy Brown, and Aaron Foster.
