Funeral service for Michael Leon Townsend will be at 12:00 noon on Saturday, December 2, 2023, at the Saint Mark Primitive Baptist Church (740 W Sanderfer Rd, Athens, AL 35611) with Pastor Kenneth Owens officiating. Interment will be at the Thatch-Mann cemetery. Mr. Townsend will lie in repose one hour prior to funeral time.
Public viewing will be held from 12:00 noon until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 1, 2023, at the Peoples Funeral Home.
