Michael leaves to cherish his memories a loving and devoted wife, three amazingly loving children.

He was our provider, our protector, our leader, our guide, our voice of reasoning, our supporter, and our calmness. Although he was trying to prepare us gently for a time such as this, nothing compares to the void we feel but we are forever grateful for all his love and compassion. Michael was definitely a man after God’s own heart.

Michael was an overcomer and overachiever as one can see just by his educational and career achievements. In spite of what he was going through mentally, physically, emotionally or even spiritually in life with his health, he faced every obstacle that he encountered with strength, dignity, integrity and grace. The last thing Michael ever wanted to do was become a burden to his family. He was ever so passionate about his job at the Robert Neaves Center as a Certified Probation Officer. He yearned for the best outcome for the children whom he was privileged to help navigate through life. He recognized there was something special in them and if he could just tap in and light that flame within they would start to turn around and see hope again. Michael overcame his battle with his illness of long suffering and God said, well done thy good and faithful servant. You can rest from your labor. He was such an admirable man. Even through his death Michael is still being Michael in helping others so that they can keep thriving. To know him is to Love him.
