Michael Lane “Mickey” Hayes, age 62, of Cordova, passed away November 3, 2021. He is preceded in death by his father, Harold “Jack” Hayes; brother, Bobby Jack Hayes; father-in-law, Johnie Cosper and his grandparents. Mickey is survived by his wife of 38 years, Lori Cosper Hayes, son Michael “Logan” Hayes, daughter, Courtlyn Murray (Shane; grandchildren, Avery Claire and Beckham Hayes Murray; mother, Charlotte Hayes; sister, LaSona Hayes Roberson; mother-in-law, Nancy Cosper; brother-in-law, Randy Cosper (Teresa); sister-in-law, Leslie Stevens; many extended family members as well as many loving friends and Team Crappie. Mickey was a loving husband, father and “Poppy”. He enjoyed restoring vintage automobiles, fishing with his buddies, trips to Disney and spending time with his beloved grandchildren. Mickey also enjoyed watching Alabama football. He will be greatly missed by all who loved him. Services will be held at New Horizon Memorial Funeral Home on Sunday, November 7, 2021.
