Michael L. Kaminsky – Obituary

Michael L. Kaminsky, 52, of Decatur, passed away at his home, Sunday, June 9, 2013. He was born in Niles, Michigan, a graduate of State Technical Institute of Knoxville, Tennessee, and a graduate of the University of Alabama, Huntsville. He was employed as a mechanical engineer at TVA, Browns Ferry Nuclear Plant, past president of the Priceville High School Band Boosters, and a longtime member of Ninth Street United Methodist Church in Decatur.

He is survived by his wife, Martha; daughters, Carol Kaminsky of Kissimmee, Florida, and Marie Kaminsky of Decatur; parents, Victor J. and Barbara Kaminsky of Knoxville, Tennessee; and brothers, Lawrence V. Kaminsky and wife, Anne, David L. Kaminsky and wife, Sandy, both of Knoxville, Tennessee, and Mark A. Kaminsky of Seattle, Washington.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 14, 2013 at 4 p.m. at Ninth Street United Methodist Church with Roselawn Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends two hours before the service at the church.
