Mr. Michael James Harries, 68, of Scottsboro, died on Sunday, February 2, 2020. Mike proudly served his country in the U.S. Air Force, Vietnam Era. He was a 1969 graduate of Bunnell High School in Stratford, Connecticut.
The family wants to honor Mike by celebrating his life at his favorite establishment, Stevarino’s on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m.
He is survived by his daughters, Ryan Harries (Justin) Sprouse, Megan Harries (Alonso) Garcia, and McKenna Katherine Harries; brothers, Thomas (Rhonda) Harries, John (Martha) Harries, Dan (Diane) Harries, and Christopher Harries; sister, Mary Harries Gibson; 3 grandchildren, Sophia Garcia, James Sprouse, and Camila Garcia; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Fred J. Harries; mother, Margaret “Peg” Harries, and brothers, Fredrick Harries and David Harries.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church in his memory.
