Michael Glenn Smith, 55, Muscle Shoals, passed away on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. Visitation will be Saturday, July 6, from 10:00 a.m. – noon, at Morrison Funeral Home, Tuscumbia. The funeral service will immediately follow in the funeral home chapel with Roland Hargrove, Zac Aday, and Tom Martin officiating. Interment will be in Shaw Cemetery, Leighton.
Mike was a member of Nitrate City Church of the Nazarene. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and a former engineer at Norfolk Southern Railroad. Mike was a loving and devoted husband and father.
He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley Smith and mother-in-law, Beverly Mitchell.
Mike is survived by his loving wife of thirty-one years, Cammie Smith; children, Riley Smith (Lindsey), Kalee Smith, and Westin Smith; mother, Bobbie Jean Smith; brothers, Danny Smith and Tony Smith; in-laws, Thomas and Sue Osborn, Casey Filyaw, Brad Osborn, and Zac Mitchell; special neighbors, Wade and Carol Jones; a host of nieces and nephews; and his beloved fur babies, Sasha, Luna, and Zeus.
Pallbearers will be Andy Gregory, Austin Vandiver, James Smith, Austin Smith, Zac Aday, and Cody Filyaw.
