Michael is survived by the mother of his children, Pamela Bagley Webb, and their two sons, Zachary Anderson Webb and Liam Holden Webb; his sister, Lisa Webb; his brother, David Gerard Webb; and his cousins, nieces and nephews. Michael was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Snell Webb, and his father, James Edward Webb.

Michael was born on February 16, 1966 in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. He had fond memories during his early childhood years in Pennsylvania, including being surrounded by his uncles, aunts and cousins, and of visits to Hershey Park. In 1978, the family moved to Lilburn, Georgia as part of an employment transfer. There, Michael attended Parkview High School, where he enjoyed being a part of the football, basketball, track and field and cross country teams. Prior to graduation from Parkview in 1988, Michael earned and accepted a basketball scholarship offer to LaGrange College in LaGrange, Georgia. He graduated from LaGrange College in 1988 with a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology as well as a minor in Business Administration. He was an ardent member of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity. He loved his fraternity brothers with the same depth as his own family. He similarly cherished his alma mater and the time spent there always held an immensely special place in his heart.

In 2014, Michael and his family moved to Brentwood, Tennessee to return to Pam’s hometown and to further the boys’ educational journey. There, he most enjoyed watching Zack and Liam participate in youth sports, including Brentwood Civitan Baseball, Brentwood Ball Club Basketball, and Williamson County Youth Flag Football.  Professionally, Michael enjoyed a distinguished career in the field of sales, marketing, and business development. He held roles with both national and international corporations, including Kraft General Foods, Reader’s Digest, Concordia International Air Exports, Kuehne-Nagel, Inc., Maersk Logistics U.S.A., Inc., JAS Forwarding (USA), Inc., Senator International Forwarding, LLC, Home Depot, USA, Inc., Lowe’s Companies, Inc., and Avis Budget Group, Inc.

Michael enjoyed fishing, golfing, and traveling, generally preferring a destination by the ocean. He loved his boys, Zack and Liam, tremendously and was immensely proud and honored to be their father. Michael will be remembered as a man who enjoyed life and the thrill of a good competition – of any kind. He was blessed with incredibly quick wit and sense of humor that could garner a hearty laugh despite the mood, venue or circumstance with which he was presented. His smile and laugh will be deeply missed.

A celebration of life will be announced and held at a date to be announced in the near future. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the LaGrange College LC Fund (www.lagrange.edu), or to City of Children (www.cityofchildren.com).
