Michael Gene “Pete” Sanford, of Jasper, 57, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2022, at Walker Baptist Medical Center.

He was preceded in death by his father, Mike Sanford of Parish; grandparents, Loretta Blackwell of Oakman and Wilson Mobley of Brunswick, GA; uncles Charlie Skalnik and Jimmy Burton; and cousin, Melody Burton.
He is survived by his mother, Judy Moore; uncle, Kenneth Mobley; aunts, Nelda Skalnik, Joan Burton; cousins, Kristi Keeton (Scottie); Sherry Boshell (Shannon); Angie Mitchell (Wayne), April Woodard, Brittany Day, Nick Keeton, Cade Mitchell, Chloe Frazier, Carson Woodard and Brayln Day and a host of other relatives and friends.
