Michael Anthony Loyd was born October 25, 1970 in Lawrence County, Alabama to the late Mary Loyd. He departed this life on Monday, December 8, 2014 at Baptist Hospital of Pensacola, Florida.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Mary Loyd and brother, Kenneth Loyd.
He attended Lawrence County High School and was a student in the Class of 1989.
He is survived by his wife, Veronica Loyd of Pensacola, FL; three sons, Drennan Holliday of Hillsboro, AL; Jaylan Loyd of Madison, AL and DeQuan Young of Pensacola, FL; five sisters, Margaret King and Donna Loyd of Moulton, AL, Evelyn Barrett (Winfred) of Hillsboro,l AL, Anita Elliott (Robert) of Decatur, and Delisa Robinson (Keith) of Birmingham, AL, a brother, Kenneth Steward of Decatur, and a host of nieces, nephews friends and loved ones.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later.
