Michael Andrew Peden went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Wednesday March 19th 2025 at AMG in Batesville MS following an extended illness. He was born Wednesday February 17th 1965 to John and Dolores Peden of Leflore County Mississippi. He was raised in the Mississippi Delta. He graduated from Greenwood High School class of 1983. He joined the Army from 1983 to 1989, then he joined the Navy 1989 til 1996, where he lived in San Diego, California. He was a Gulf War Veteran. After the military he became a truck driver and loved his job of being on the open road even after 25 plus years. He loved his family and always had a big smile on his face and loved to make people laugh. He loved spending time with his family and his dogs, watching Ole Miss football, doing anything outside, especially fishing. Before meeting the love of his life he had 2 daughters that he loved more than life. He met his soul mate and married after only knowing each other for 6 weeks they were married on April 29th of 2011, they even worked for more than the last 4 years together, she was his dispatcher. They had just moved back to the area February of 2024 from Schlater MS.
Michael leaves behind his wife Stacey Peden, his daughters Caitlyn Kent {Dakota} and Casandra Peden. 2 grandchildren Lilli Marie and Elijah Trace Kent. Mother in law Ann Filgo. Brother in law Chris Filgo {Brandy} nephew Cash.
Michael was welcomed with open arms by his Parents, Father in Law John Filgo, his Paternal and Maternal grandparents and several aunts and uncles.
