Micah Gene Colonna – Obituary

micahMicah Gene Colonna, age 35, of Trussville, formerly of Tuscumbia, died Wednesday, May 14, 2014. His family will receive friends Saturday, noon until 3 p.m., at Morrison Funeral Home of Tuscumbia with his funeral service following in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Dan Durbin officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery, Tuscumbia.

Micah was a veteran of the U.S. Army, a member of American Legion Post 31, and Washington Masonic Lodge No. 36. He was the owner of Green Banana Inventions.

Micah had a generous, giving and serving spirit with a love for music and all animals. His personal motto was “I get up every day and try to do the right thing.”

He is survived by his wife, Ashley Morrow Colonna; parents, Gene and Carole “C.J.” Holcombe Colonna; sister, Julie Colonna Shultz and husband, Raymond; brother-in-law, Tyler Morrow and wife, Brooke; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Pallbearers are Raymond Shultz, Richard Holcombe, Everett Holcombe, Jason “Doze” Coley, Thomas D. Risher Jr., Bobby Gregory, and Blake Stutts.
