DANVILLE-The Morgan County Sheriff Ana Franklin released a statement concerning the arrest of one suspect on charges of Unlawful Manufacture of a Controlled Substance :
“On Wednesday,March 30th, 2016, the Morgan County Drug Task Force and ALEA Narcotics Division served an arrest warrant at 30 Betterton Dr., Danville, AL. Agents had a felony arrest warrant for Jacob Lee Palmer, 25, for Violation of Drug Court. Agents made contact with Palmer outside of the residence. Agents observed meth making items and a meth lab in a trash pile behind the residence. Agents searched the residence and property and discovered a One-Pot Meth Lab along with five HCL gas generators. Agents located fuel, lithium batteries, acid, coffee filters, and empty boxes of Pseudoephedrine. In addition to the warrant, agents charged Palmer with Unlawful Manufacture of a Controlled Substance 1st and Unlawful Possession of Felony Drug Paraphernalia. Danville and Punkin Center VFD were called to decontaminate Palmer. Judge Howell set Palmer’s bonds at $350,000.00. The Violation of Drug Court warrant has no bond.
