Meryl Ann Harris, age 73, of Lewisburg, Tennessee, died Monday, December 11th, 2023, at St. Thomas West.
She was born February 4th, 1950 in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Walter Fowler and Virginia Waldrop Fowler. She retired as an IT tech and teacher assistant for the Marshall County School System and was a member of the Church Street Church of Christ. She enjoyed reading books and spending time with her family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Allen M. Harris.
She is survived by one daughter, Shannon Black of Lewisburg; one son, David (Janet) Harris of Cornersville; three granddaughters; two great granddaughters; two great grandsons; sister, Monna Lou (Jim) Rucker of Lewisburg; one niece, Liz Pincus and several other nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, December 16th, 2023, at 2:00 pm from the Chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091, with cremation to follow.
Visitation with the family will be held at Chapel of London Funeral Home, 324 West Church Street, Lewisburg, Tennessee 37091, on Saturday, December 16th, 2023, from 12:00 pm until the funeral hour.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Marshall County Memorial Library, and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
