Mery Alice Haynes, 59 of Elberta Alabama , formerly of Arab, died Tuesday June 28, 2016 at Thomas Hospital in Fairhope Alabama.
Mery was born on October 9, 1956 in Marshall County Alabama, to Robert L. Haynes and Daphine Butts Haynes. She was a 1975 graduate of Arab High School and worked for the Department of Human Resources until her retirement. Mery had lived in Elberta Alabama for 25 years.
She was of the Episcopal Faith and a member of Epiphany.
She is survived by Mike Peddrick of 24 years; her mother: Daphine Haynes; sister and brother-in-law: Nan and Mike Casey; nephews: Jason and Kolson Casey, Josh and Lindsay Casey, Jeremy Casey and Ryan Haynes; great nephew: Colin Casey and great niece: Scout Casey. She was preceded in death by her father: Robert L. Haynes and a brother Bobby Haynes.
Graveside service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday July 2, 2016 at Gilliam Springs Cemetery with Randy L. Blakely, officiating. Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel, directing.
Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Saturday July 2, 2016 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel.
