Merle Carlisle Shelton, age 85, of Hanceville, Alabama passed away on Friday, November 29, 2024. She was born on October 18, 1939 in Cullman Alabama to Lawrence Willard and Ruth Anderson Carlisle.Merle is preceded in death by her husband: Okley Shelton, son: Lawrence Shelton, sisters: Dean Carlisle, Mary Ruth Miller and her parents.
A Celebration of Life Funeral Service will be on Tuesday December 3, 2024 at Moss Service Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 PM with Rev. Richard Bailey and Ray Ponder Officiating. Interment will be in Shelton Grove Cemetery.
Survivors are: daughters: Darlene (Lenn) Trimble, Ginger Shelton, Cheryl Heaton, brother: Larry (Theresa) Carlisle, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, December 3, 2024 at Moss Service Funeral Home from 11:00 AM until service time at 2:00 PM.
