Melvin Uptain, age 86 of Oakman, passed away on Thursday, January 26, 2023 at his residence.
The family will receive friends on Monday, January 30, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Collins-Burke Funeral Home, funeral services will follow at 12:00 p.m. in the Collins-Burke Chapel. Burial will be at Bethel Cemetery.
Mr. Uptain was preceded in death by his Wife-Gaynell; Daughter-Teresa Allen.
He is survived by his Daughter-Cheryl Wade; Sons-Gary Uptain, Kevin Uptain and Tyler Uptain; Sister-Dorothy Farmer; 13 Grandchildren; 21 Great Grandchildren; 3 Great-Great Grandchildren.
