Melvin Lynn Eskridge, 70, of Ripley passed away Sunday, July 24, 2022 at his residence. Visitation will be held from 5 until 8 PM Tuesday evening at Garner Funeral Home in Ripley. Funeral services will be 2 PM Wednesday at Garner Funeral Home with burial to follow in Ripley Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Eskridge, a retired maintenance supervisor at West Tennessee State Penitentiary, was a member of Spirit Filled Baptist Church.
The husband of Denise White Eskridge, he is survived by 2 daughters Tammy Staggs (Ricky) of Hornbeak and Bridgette Eskridge of Ripley, his mother Betty White of Ripley, 6 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
