Funeral Service for Melvin Kenneth Swann, age 84 of Cullman, will be at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at East Side Baptist Church with Bro. Sam Hollis officiating; burial at Valley Springs Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 PM-2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 6, 2024 at East Side Baptist Church.
Cullman Heritage Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Swann passed away on Sunday, March 3, 2024 at his residence. He was born Sunday, April 2, 1939, to Lee and Velma Swann.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Bertie Swann, parents, sister, Doris Dunagan and daughter-in-law, Peggy Swann.
Survivors include his daughter, Debra Butler, son, Mark Swann, grandchildren, Kristi (Zac Wood) Butler, Kelsie Butler, Katie (Aaron) Birt, great grandchildren, Cody, Cooper, Brooklyn, Ben, Kane, Bentlee, Piper, Posey, Todo and Remy; brother Charles Swann, sister, Edra Eason and special caregiver Cindi McGhee.
