Melvin Douglas Mitchell, age 73, of Petersburg, Tennessee, died Wednesday, May 1, 2024, at Life Care Center of Columbia.
Doug was born October 16, 1950, in Lewisburg, Tennessee, to the late Henry and Melba Welch Mitchell. He enjoyed working on his farm and hunting in his spare time.
He is survived by an abundance of cousins and was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation with the family will be held at London Funeral Home, 324 W. Church Street, Lewisburg, TN, on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 12:00 pm until 2:00 pm.
Graveside Service will be conducted on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at 2:30 pm at Talley Cemetery at Cane Creek, Petersburg, TN.
