Mrs. Melody Sharae Risner Davis was born in Florence, AL on January 8, 1977, to her surviving parents Mr. David Risner and Mrs. Sandra Rumbaugh Risner. She attended school at Collinwood, graduating high school from Collinwood High in 1995. She would be united in Marriage to Mr. Russell Davis on August 15, 2015, and would remain married until her passing. She was a very hard working and studious woman as she earned an associate’s degree and was earning her bachelor’s degree in criminal justice. She was a very hard worker as she provided for her family as a Pipe Fitter belonging to UA
Local 760. She loved to travel and the beach was one of her favorite vacation destinations
. Her profession allowed her to travel all over the country seeing all the nature and beautiful artistry God has made. Mrs. Melody was a devout Christian and loved worshiping with her church family at the Cornerstone Church of Collinwood. She loved entertaining friends at her home along with her husband spending time with those closest to her. Closest to her heart was the time she spent with her family and friends, making memories that would last a lifetime. Mrs. Melody Sharae Risner Davis departed this life on September 14, 2024, making her stay on this earth some 47 years, 8 months and 6 days.
Those who survive her include her husband, Russell Davis; father David Risner and mother Sandra Rumbaugh Risner; sons Payten Davis and Bailey Davis all of Collinwood, TN; sister Anna Hile and husband Justin of Huntsville, AL and brother Kevin Risner wife Kayla of Collinwood, TN; nieces Lexi Hartsfield, Sierra Hile, Tatum Davis, Steele Davis, Hazley Davis, Paisley Risner and Georgia Risner; nephews Logan Montgomery, Wyatt Hile and Miles Montgomery; great-nieces Madison Montgomery and Nora Hartsfield; great-nephew Miles Montgomery; as well as many other extended family members and friends.
Funeral Services will be held Friday September 20,2024 at 1:00 pm at the Cornerstone Church of Collinwood with Cameron Eaton and Daniel Graves officiating.
Visitation with the family will begin Thursday September 19, 2024, beginning at 6:00 pm till 9:00 pm and again on Friday September 20,2024 from 10:00am till service time all at the Cornerstone Church of Collinwood.
