Funeral services for Ms. Melissa Susanne Howard, age 56, will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, September 7, 2024 in the Shelton-Hunt Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will begin at 1 PM on Saturday until service time.
Ms. Howard, a homemaker, passed away on Monday, September 2, 2024 in the Jackson-Madison County General Hospital.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William Young and Nancy Capps.
Ms. Howard is survived by two daughters, Ashleigh (Marquarius) Wade and Sarah Hardee both of Humboldt; a sister, Deborah Holley of Medina; a brother, David Young of Spring Creek; four grandchildren, Airiana Clark, Malachi Clark, Makayleigh Wade and Marli Patrick; three nieces, Jessie Webb, Amy Graham and Christy Young; and a nephew, Blake Grimes.
