Melissa Starre Keith Arrick, age 63 of Decherd, passed away on Monday, March 21, 2022, at her sister’s residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Franklin County on April 24, 1958, to the late Chester William and Viola Mae (Stephens) Keith. A dedicated homemaker, she enjoyed cooking and spending time with her beloved family, especially her children. She loved being outdoors fishing and camping, and enjoyed crocheting, singing, and dancing. Melissa will be remembered for her quiet, reserved nature as well as the kindness she showed to others. She was a member of Prairie Plains Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Katherine Smith, Shirley Brewer, Mae Whitsett, Eugene Keith, Bobby Keith, Linda Wilson, and Doug Keith. Melissa is survived by her loving children, Dwayne Wiseman, Daniel (Adrienne) Hoss, Nicole (Quincy) Hall, and Brooke (Junior) Kilgore; grandchildren, Gabbi Huffman, Madison Hoss, Noah Hoss, Kaylin Hardin, Mason Hardin, and Easton Kilgore; siblings, Delores Wilson, Betty Williams, Melinda (Doug) Swann, and Leslie Keith; brother-in-law, Ricky Wilson; many nieces and nephews; and special niece, Sepheria. Visitation will be from 10am -1pm on Friday, March 25, 2022, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will follow at 1:00pm in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev. Todd Coutta officiating.
