Melba Sue Young Dickinson, age 86, od Sumiton, passed away at her residence on September 20, 2024.
Melba loved collecting antiques and going to yard sales and to thrift stores.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ira E. “Benny” Dickinson; parents, Carl and Gladys Young and her siblings, Evelyn Stone, Ruth Thomas, Eloise Borden, Barbara Hubbard and Fred Young.
Survivors include her nieces, nephews, other extended family members and many friends.
A private service will be held. She will be laid to rest in McCormack Cemetery.
