Funeral service for Melba L. Addis, 80, will be Sunday, February 14, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Virgil Crisp officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Hartselle Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home.
Mrs. Addis died on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Decatur Morgan Hospital. She was born May 13, 1940, in Morgan County to William Lymon Slate and Ruth Kathleen Marshall Slate. She worked in the Banking and Investments Industry, prior to her retirement. She loved her family and enjoyed playing cards. She attended the Hartselle Church of the Nazarene and was a very special, kind, loving and caring person. She was preceded in death by her husband: Don Addis and a daughter: Sarah Blevins and her parents.

Grandchildren – Keith, Jr., Timmy, Victor, Matthew, Cheryl, Jacob
and Mallory
Pallbearers will be A.J. Maples, Victor Bolderas, Timmy Strickland, Matthew Blevins, Andy Laush and Pat Halbrooks.
