Melba Jo Thompson Nunnally, more lovingly known as “Teet” passed away February 27, 2024, at the age of 93. She was born May 2, 1930, in Albertville, to Ide and Trissie Thompson. She was a 1948 graduate of Albertville High School. “Teet” married Wallace Nunnally on March 19, 1950 and was married 43 years until his death in 1993. She was a faithful member of Mount Calvary Baptist Church, Albertville for 65 years.
Survivors include sons, Gary (Martha) Nunnally of Albertville, Max (Gretchen) Nunnally of Huntsville, grandchildren, Cory (Stacey) Nunnally of Guntersville, Tristan (Markus) Spicer of Huntsville, Joel (Ashlee) Nunnally of Albertville, great grandchildren, Gracyn and Molly Kate Spicer.
Visitation will be Sunday March 3, 2024 from 12:30 to 2:00 pm. at Adams Brown Service Funeral Home in Albertville. A private graveside service will follow immediately in Marshall Memorial Gardens, with the Rev. Tom Brown officiating.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Mount Calvary Baptist Church.
