Ms. Melba Jeane Hutchison, age 90, of Arab, Alabama went to be with our Lord and Saviour on Saturday, February 3, 2024 at Diversicare of Arab. Jeane was born April 29, 1933 in Arab, Alabama to Henry Madison Hutchison and Clara Weaver Hutchison. For the past several years, Jeane has been lovingly taken care of by her cousin, Sandra Echols and the wonderful people at Arab Diversicare. Jeane was a member of the 12th Avenue Church of God.
Jeane is survived by one niece, Debra Hutchison Wallace (Robb), and one nephew, Tim Hutchison (Sis), all of Decatur, Alabama, along with great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Services for Jeane will be Tuesday, February 6, 2024 at Arab Heritage Memorial Chapel at 1340 North Main Street, Arab, AL 35016. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00 am. The funeral service will immediately follow the visitation. Pastor Megan Cloninger will be officiating. Burial will be in the Gilliam Springs Church Cemetery.
