Celebration of Life service for Meghan Bragwell, 27, of Decatur will be today, May 9, 2015, at 3 p.m. at Ridout’s Brown-Service Chapel with burial in East Lawrence Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. at the funeral home.
Miss Bragwell, who died Wednesday, May 6, 2015, was born January 10, 1988, in Decatur to Randy and Regina Bragwell. Meg was a member of the Church of Christ at Midway in her teen years, and most recently, Beltline Church of Christ. Meg loved children and briefly worked as a child care provider. Everyone who knew Meg knew her loving and forgiving heart, her great sense of humor and her teasing ways. She deeply loved her friends and family and was not afraid to express that love. She had a very special relationship with her niece, Lydia, whom she loved playing with and reading to. Meg, we will miss you every minute of every day. Meg was preceded in death by her father, James Randell Bragwell; grandfathers, Bobby Bragwell and Bobby Cecil Hester; and aunt, Lisa Gaye Hester.
She is survived by her mother, Regina Hester Bragwell; sister, Katelyn Lorelei Bragwell; niece, Lydia Rose Smith; special brother, Obie Darrius Smith; grandmothers, Gaye Borden Hester and Nell Duggar Jones; aunts, uncles and cousins.
