Megan Janelle passed away at Hoag Hospital, in California, September 25, 2023. She was soon to celebrate her twenty-fifth birthday. Megan grew up in Madison and graduated high school in 2016. She had completed one year of college at Calhoun Community College with a 4.0 GPA and made the President’s list.
Growing up Megan had a passion for both soccer and theater. She loved music, laughing, jokes, and make-up. She had a creative spirit, an infectious laugh and a glamorous smile. Her personality would light up a room!
Megan loved people! She had a caring heart and was always eager to find a way to help others in need. She loved deeply and felt empathy for others. She was always willing to offer a helping hand, no matter the task.
Megan’s artistic flare was often represented by her ever changing style. She was never afraid of trying new things. Her sense of adventure allowed other to see the beauty of her true colors. She was truly beautiful inside and out.
Megan loved her family with with a huge heart, parents, siblings, nieces and nephews, grandparents, a large extended family and many friends.
The fact that Megan chose to be an organ donor very simply demonstrates her never-ending compassion toward others. Her memory and legacy will forever remain in our hearts.
