SHEFFIELD-Friends – We invite you to Rocker Gallery on Saturday, April 13th, at 6 PM for a reception honoring our dear friend and opening exhibition artist Pat Sansone.
Pat’s photography leads you down roads less traveled. Much of his work is captured while touring with Wilco and during long drives amid the COVID-19 pandemic. Decaying signage, glass soda bottles, empty auditorium seats, abandoned industrial sites, and roadside diners are all caught in the amber of film.
As a self-taught photographer, Sansone captures these moments in glimpses divorced from context—the landscapes and locales are decidedly post-human, almost otherworldly. Pat and Rocker Gallery co-founder Alan Daigre will also have a live conversation to discuss their creative processes, what craftsmanship means to them, and more.
