Meathel Hacker Franks, 71, Russellville, passed away on Tuesday, October 01, 2013 at Helen Keller Hospital.
She was a member of North Highland Baptist Church in Littleville.
The visitation will be 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 03, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel. The funeral will be at 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 04, 2013 at Spry Memorial Chapel. Officiating at the service will be Bro. Paul Cummings and Bro. Wade Holbrook. Burial will follow at Dempsey Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband of 12 years, Gene Franks; sons, Basil Williams (wife, Sherry), Stanley Williams, Phillip Williams (wife, Karen); 5 grandsons, Basil Williams, Jr., Nathan Williams, Daniel Williams, Randy Williams, Collyn Williams; 11 granddaughters, Angela Williams, Kimberly Vaughn, LeeAnn Grisham, Stephanie Powell, Nicole Williams, Sabrina Hubbard, Asonna Williams, Marlena Mather, Tiffany Huddleston, Tabitha Williams, Kaylie Williams; 16 great-grandchildren; brothers, Cleveland Hacker, Berline Hacker; sisters, Dora Pounders, Hazel Fiero, Lennis Reams, Doris Okerblon, Jewell Powell, Juanita Bugge; and a host of nieces & nephews.
She was preceded in death by her son, Randle Williams; parents, Eugene & Florence Hacker; siblings, Verlon Hacker, Gaylard Hacker, Eva Yellig, Lorene King, and Louise Bohannon.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
