McDavid "Mack" Ray Franks McDavid “Mack” Ray Franks passed away on Saturday, July 20, 2024 at Huntsville Hospital. He was born on October 4, 1937 in Brilliant, Alabama. The son of David Franks and Robert and Verna Mae Galloway, Mack went to Fayette High School and served in the United States Navy. He lived in Hamilton, Alabama for 53 years, was employed by the telephone company for 35 years and was a longtime member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife of 67 years, Eunie “Vickie” Vee Franks; children Ray Franks (Valorie) and Teresa Wilson (Rock); grandchildren Rob Franks, Drew Franks (Samantha), and Keyla Parker Piechocki (Scott); great-grandchildren Olivia Franks, AJ Franks, Ada Franks, Samuel Piechocki, and Daniel Piechocki; sister Deloris Thompson (Henry). He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Larry Galloway. Mack was a member of the Hamilton Church of Christ and enjoyed leading the hymns. In his spare time, he liked to work in his yard, take his puppy for walks, and spend time with his family. The visitation will be held at Marion County Funeral Home in Hamilton, AL on Monday, July 22, 2024 from 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM. The service will immediately follow. The burial will be held at Mt Olive Free Will Baptist Church cemetery in Guin, Alabama.
