McAuther Partain  McAuther Partain, age 81 of Jasper, Al went to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, November 24, 2023 . Funeral Service will be 2:00 pm on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at Bell Sumiton Chapel with burial in Empire Memorial Cemetery. Bishop Bruce LeVan and Bishop Harv Turner will officiate. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at Bell Sumiton Chapel.

Bro. Mack leaving behind a legacy of love and strength. In our family, he was the unyielding rock, a pillar of unwavering support. His godly presence touched us all, inspiring us to be better and embrace the values he held dear. He had an unparalleled love for his family, a love that was both fierce and tender. His guidance was a steady hand, and his wisdom, a source of comfort. In moments of joy and challenge, he stood as a beacon of strength not only with his family but with his church family and community. Truly a man of God. As we mourn his physical absence, we celebrate the incredible man he was. His kindness, his laughter, and his undying devotion to those that he loved will forever be etched in our hearts. We find peace in knowing that he has found peace in the embrace divine.

Bro. Mack had many names in his life, pops, granddad and Big Daddy but the most important one of all was faithful servant.

Bro. Mack was preceded in death by his wife of 57 years Zannai Partain; parents; Amos and Velma Partain, siblings; Kathleen, Elmer, Delmer, Milford, Milton and Billy Partain.

Survivors include his daughter, Vanessa Capps and her husband, Mike of Jasper; granddaughters, Mallory Jenkins and her husband, Randy of Empire and Amber Maddox and her husband, Taylor of Parrish; great grandchildren, Brayden and Colt Jenkins of Empire and Elizabeth Grace and Oliver Maddox of Parrish; and a host of other friends and relatives.
